Instrukcijas un noderīgi padomi (servera iestatijumi)

The Minimum ARMA 3 Server Requirements
What's the lowest rig you could get to run an ARMA 3 server?
  • CPU: 2.4GHz dual-core processor
  • RAM: 2GB
  • HDD: 32GB
  • OS: Linux/Windows Server 2008 (or better)
ARMA 3 does not use multi-threading allowing you to save by using a basic dual-core processor. The minimum server specs are about the same as running the game so if it's working on your rig then it'll work on a server.
The Recommended ARMA 3 Server Requirements
Don't want rubberbanding and issues with the hardware?
  • CPU: 3.xGHz+ multi-core processor
  • RAM: 4GB+
  • HDD: 32GB+
  • OS: Linux/Windows Server 2008 (or better)
It's a given that more is always better with dedicated hardware. Consider installing an extra 1GB of RAM for every 10 extra players on your server. This requirement is right in-line with the recommended specs for the game.

  1. Steam Account
  2. Supported Operating System:
    • Windows Server 2008 or later
    • A modern Linux distribution
  3. Minimum Hardware:
2.4 GHz Dual-Core/3.5 GHz Quad-Core
2GB /4GB
32 GB HDD /32 GB SSD
Citāts:About steamCMD utility: if you are using it on a dedicated host to install and update Arma 3 dedicated server, it is a good practice to create a separate steam account for that. Arma 3 Dedicated server package is available for free (does not require regular Arma 3 to be purchased).
Atsevišķs Steam konts noderot arī priekš Headless Client (mūs no apraksta pagaidām interesē sadaļas 1, 3 un 4 - savas misijas, kurām šo varētu vajadzēt, tuvākā laikā diez vai taisīsim)
Antistasi un Liberation seivu ArmA glabā vienā un tajā pašā failā. Viņš atrodas:
1. ja tiek lietots defaultais jūzera profils (t.i. spēlētāja konts Armā sakrīt ar Windows lietotāju) - tad ceļš ir Documents -> ArmA 3 -> USER.vars.Arma3Profile (kur USER - Windows lietotāja konta nosaukums);

You can access the command line by pressing the chat key ( default: / ).
In the chat input window you can type any of the following commands in and confirm them with the enter key.
You have to add the # character before the command.
Troubleshooting: All commands are confirmed via a message in the console. If you enter a command that is properly formatted and you see no confirmation of the command then an error has occurred. Check your server log for more information (e.g. one or more of your mission files is corrupt or has an error which prevents the Missions Lobby from loading, or may prevent other commands like #restart or #reassign from executing).
The following commands are available to you once you have connected to a server:
#login password

#login adminPW

Log in as the admin. Without password only possible if you an admin[] in server.cfg#Server_Options

Admin log out.
#mission filename
#mission filename difficulty
#mission myDM.intro
#mission myDM.intro Veteran
Select mission with known name and set the difficulty. Difficulty parameter is optional and if not set, current difficulty is kept.

Each command can be disabled by the use of the off parameter e.g. #debug userSent off
Each command differs a bit; some output to screen, some to log file etc.
You need some debugger capable of catching OutputDebugString running on the client machine
(one very small and easy to use is available at SysInternals website).
You launch this debugger, then launch ARMA client, connect to the server, and issue any of the commands.
